Timing and what sets the schedule.
A kitchen is typically 10 to 14 weeks from order to install. Two things move that number more than anything else.
Design sign-off
Most delays come from design changes after shop drawings are issued. Two or three rounds of changes are normal and expected. Ten rounds means the brief was never settled.
Stone lead time
Natural stone selection and slab availability drives the critical path. Choosing the slab early protects the install date.
Site readiness
Install runs on a finished floor and set walls. Builders running late push the joinery date, not the other way around.
Frequently asked about kitchens.
Can I keep my existing appliances?
Usually yes. Give us the model numbers and we design the cabinetry to suit. If an appliance is being replaced, tell us the intended model so the cavity is right the first time.
Timber veneer or 2-pack — which should I choose?
Veneer gives you real grain and warmth and is the higher-end look. 2-pack gives you any colour, better moisture performance in wet zones, and a lower price. Many whole-home projects use veneer in living areas and 2-pack in laundry and vanities.
Do you work with my builder or architect?
Regularly. We can work from your architect's drawings or coordinate directly with a builder on site. Send the drawings with your enquiry and we will quote against them.
Can I see a kitchen before committing?
We will show you completed project photography and, where possible, arrange to see a recent installation. What we will not do is promise a showroom we do not operate.
